Another pass

The valley of the Jordanne leads us higher and higher up to the Col de Redonnet 1531m. The view of the volcanic landscape is magnificent. The cyclist we pass knows what he has done when he gets to the top.

The wind is howling strong up here. We are glad to see the fresh green again far below.

The Lac d’Aubusson is an ideal place to stay for the night.

Our journey continues further north to the smalltown of Chivry, just before Chalon-sur Saonne.
