Silent Route of Aragon

From Teruel, the road spirals higher and higher and meanders through the landscape. We overcome at least six passes, the highest is almost 1700m high. We even see snow on the roadside. The few villages seem deserted, i.e. there are no restaurants either. Fortunately, our Womo is well stocked. The road is called “Silent Route of Aragon”. There are hardly any vehicles coming towards us. But the vultures – or eagles – are circling overhead; once we even see ibexes. We don’t want to spend the night at this altitude, it’s too cold for us.
