After the corona numbers have decreased everywhere and there are openings everywhere, we are on our way. It feels good to be on the road again. Our goal is the Spreewald. Until our first overnight stay near Erfurt, we take the motorway. A few years ago we were on the square on the edge of the tiny village of Obernissa. Restaurants were unfortunately not open, on the door it said:
Open the door: one there
Door closed: no one there.
With that, all has been said.
The next day we drive on the country road to Torgau on the Elbe. The green of the fields is good for the eyes and the many poppies on the edges of the fields look beautiful.
Torgau is a city in northwest Saxony with a history of over 1000 years. We only get a brief glimpse into the city, because we want to continue into the Spreewald.
