The river Ahr

We actually wanted to go to Italy in spring. But Corona has put a spanner in the works (is this correct in English?). After three months at home, we are now venturing a trip within our German borders. We chose the Ahr Valley Cycle Path in the Eifel. The 85km long Ahr rises in Blankenheim at an altitude of approx. 470m. The historic center of the tiny town is worth seeing with many half-timbered houses. Despite Corona, the only open beer garden restaurant is well staffed and our WoMo kitchen can stay cold.

  1. Hello my friends. So glad to see you out and about the beautiful German countryside. I’m sorry this lovely website now has advertising but I am very good at ignoring ads : )
