Through the Extremadura

The winter time is here! So all clocks go back an hour, ie. as in Portugal yesterday. Very confusing…

We are in Spain in the region Extremadura. Again, the reservoirs are pretty empty. First we drive through … nothing. The area looks very desert-like.

The Extremadura has to offermore, for example, the Valle de Jerte, the cherry orchard of Spain. In the spring, two millions of cherry trees bloom here. The Puerto de Tornovaca with an altitude of 1125m forms the border with Castile.
