Nationalpark Donau-Auen

The Donau-Auen National Park lies between the European capitals of Vienna and Bratislava and preserves the last large floodplain landscape in Central Europe on more than 9,600 hectares. Unfortunately for us it is still raining.

Hainburg is the last town on Austrian territory.

On the bank of the Danube there is a nice parking lot from which we can watch the traffic of the ships on the Danube. In the evening, many cruise ships pass by on their way to Vienna.

  1. It’s a shame as it’s still raining on your road, hope sun will come back soon! I am impressed by the number of churches and cathedrals you are visiting now!!!!!!!

It’s a mess in the house at the moment! a painter is redoing the ceiling as there was a crack, he puts a fabric wall paper and will paint it, normally this afternoon! Then for the cracks in the kitchen, he will do something else and an other one will come to repair the outside cracks in the wall of the garage……. Don’t you think it’s time for me to leave……… ? before I fell in a big crack!!!!!

How was the champagne? love domy
