Sukosan is located at the gate of the Kornati archipelago, which we unfortunately can not reach without a boat – but we did some years ago. From our beautiful pitch just before Sukosan, we can see the largest marina on the Adriatic.
A beautiful coastal road brings us to Zadar. We are still early in the morning and get a parking lot at the harbor. There are two large cruise ships, but maybe they are still at breakfast and the visitors who walk with us over the old pavement, are not too many. Zadar should actually be called “city of the churches”, because there are so many. However, our need for churches for this journey is covered by now.
The coast road “Magistrale” is very close to the water. You notice the proximity of the Kornati, the near island of Pag looks very similar.
When passing by, we discover this beautiful official campsite. Only a few meters separate us from the cooling water.
Not only in hotels there are people reserve their place with towels – although here is really enough space for every one.
