Adriatic Views

Our Peloponnese round ends with the drive across the bridge of Patras. The road along the gulf opens great views.

Direction Preveza, our TomTomTussi suggests the best up to now: instead of a slacker six kilometers a 149km detour! And the picture on the monitor is awesome!

The small harbor town of Pargas looks very nice on the map, but is totally overcrowded and at least six buses we count in the narrow streets. This brings us to the great coastal road, which we would never have driven otherwise, because it on the map it looks very small. And thus also to our last parking space in Greece with a view of Corfu.

  1. I read this on before but wanted to ask – did you take the route the TomTom gave to you? We have these types of adventures from time to time but usually not in the countryside — but lost in a city that has had the roads re-arranged. Still, it is a way for unintended good adventures, especially in places you know well and do not vary the route so often, yes?
