We continue our journey through the Val Sugano into the Po Valley and Chioggia. The city is an insider’s tip as an alternative to Venice. It is beautiful weather and also a weekend Chioggia is strongly in Italian hands – you hardly see any foreign tourists. The campsites are filled up. We find a place a bit outside, but in the evening it is also quite full.
Sunday is market day. We expect fruits and vegetables and fish. But it’s a real Italian market, mainly clothes. There is a small fish market. The seagulls know at the end there will be some leftovers for them.
