Like every year, in autumn we want to be on the road again. Our first destination is the south of England.
It is about 700km to Calais. Our first night we spend in Luxembourg. Here you can also refuel kind of reasonable. In contrast, the “eating” is quite expensive. Above the bridge is Germany, there is a country inn. However, Wednesdays it is closed. But we campers have no problem with this, there is always something in our camper kitchen.
The next day we have lunch in a Belgian Frittenbude – although fat, but delicious. The driving through Belgium and north of France is quite exhausting, densely populated and a lot of traffic. An overnight stay is also difficult to find and so we are only 80km from the coast and the ferry towards evening.
