With the spring our wanderlust is back. We have planned a Baltic Sea tour. Due to the rather frosty temperatures, we postpone our departure into May. But at some point, there is no holding and we have to go. The first stage is rather long, we spend our first night in the Spreewald.
We would have liked a bike ride, but the bathroom is wet and that without showering! The water tap at the sink is leaking. No chance to repair it. There is a Hymer workshop nearby, but it is Saturday and no technician there. There are camp spaces at the workshop, where we can stay and wait for Monday.
The weather is ok, we use our bikes along the Oder-Spree-Kanal. There is not much to see of the canal, we only have to cross it once. The bike track leads through a forest rummaged by wild boars to the Ragower Mühle.
Really, this is not our day! On the way back I have a puncture on the bike. For repairs – same as with the camper – it is Saturday and nothing is open.
Not a good start… Hopefully the workshop can repair the camper, otherwise, we will have to turn round.
