To the Atlantic Coast

When autumn knocks on our doorstep it is time for us hit the road direction south. Our route leads us through the whole of France.

The first night we spend on Lac du Der. This place has changed a lot since we visited the first time. About eight years ago you were able to park anywhere, now there are closed-up parking spaces for cars and for campers. But there is plenty of room, the season here is finished. Even the (stone) fish have no water anymore!

It is not easy to find an open restaurant when stopping for a break. The sleepy little village only offers pizza.

After three days we reach the Atlantic Coast. The season has ended here as well but the weather is still very nice and people still enjoy the sun and the air of the sea.
