The wind dies a bit down and the temperature rises to pleasant 15 degrees. From far the snow covered summits of the Pyrenees greet us. Soon we are in Spain.
Unfortunately the campground of Barcelona is closed for the season but on Mont Juic in Barcelona we find an attended parking lot – rather expensive with 30€ for 24 hours – but within 10 minutes we reach the Plaza Espanya and the underground Metro of Barcelona.
In a few minutes we are at Plaza Catalunya and stroll down las Ramblas. A short visit in the Boqueria, the famos market of Barcelona, and we start to be hungry – much to early for Spain. But near the Ramblas are Tapas bars galore.
The Ramblas shine in pre xmas decoration as well as the Passeig Garcia.
In the morning we take a walk to the Castel of Mont Juic from where the view to the city is beautiful. The enormous Cathedral La Sagrada Familia stand out of the sea of houses – still covered with construction cranes.
