Around Capo S.Maria di Leuca

The coast becomes more and more cliffy, no sandy beaches. But at this temperatures we are not keen want to swim anyway.

In the cavernous ground below Santa Cesarea Therme sulfur springs have it source. Nine years ago we could walk up and down in the natural bath but now it is blocked, we can only view the stairs and pools from far away

The coastal road is fantastic. It is impossible to stop somewhere. We don’t even try to go to S. Maria de Leuca, the city at the cape, the many Easter visitors make it impossible.

After the cape the traffic lessens and the coast is more flat – easier for us to find a campsite.
