Sept.19th: Arabba, Marmolada and Lake Fedaia

Like the pass road up to Passo Pordoi the road winds down on the other side to Arabba.

Passing Col di Lana gets steep and many bends lead to Rocca Pietore and up again to Malga Ciapela where the cable car starts For Marmolada (3343m). After three sections you can reach almost the highest summit of the Dolomites. Unfortunately it is not working at the moment.

That means more serpentines to the Passo Fedaia and Lake Fedaia. The imposing glaciers are only a small rest from earlier days because the  Marmolada is also suffering from the universal fading of the glaciers.

Today the full moon is visible and we enjoy a magnificent stary sky.
