French Med Coast

April 12th

It is quite chilly at the altitude of our campsite! After about 250km we reach the coast and the city of Frontignan where 45 years ago we drank this awfully sweet and sticky wine called Frontinac – which caused a tremendous headache. I am sure you can still buy but – no thank you!

Bright blue sky greets us next morning. We decide to bike to the harbour of Séte. The wind comes directly from the front – how can it be different?

The route is not very easy to find. We do several “sweet loops”, Jean-Louis would be proud of us! At the end of the day we have done 40km – much more than we expected. The former small city of Séte has grown tremendously to a busy harbor town. In the old port is not as much hustle and bustle. Here we find a nice little restaurant with tasty food.
