The weather forecast for the next days looks terrible. We are at the point enough is enough and decide to head back home. We drive through the Perigord where the kitchen is dominated by duck and goose. The navigation system leads us on tiny roads to a campground which doesn’t look inviting at all. Better to drive back 20km in no time on main roads! We passed the place before on a hill in a tiny village of 18 inhabitants and three restaurants!
Unfortunately I forget to take my camera. The portions are enormous and very decorative. I take the right choice because a salad with rilette and stomach of duck is not my favorite even the French like it very much. Nevertheless I am stuffed after this menu and the others as well. No need for breakfast and lunch next day!
