August 16th: On the Rhine Dam

We meet Domyves in Wyhl just before the “Kaiserstuhl” to finish our bike trip from last year. The Kaiserstuhl is a small vulcanic hill area in the south of Germany. It is also a small wine area.

Our campsite is right behind the Rhine Dam. Late afternoon some joggers and walkers pass by, otherwise it is a quiet place. We bike along the dam, France is greeting from the other side.

Lots of swans like this place as well.

A bachelor likes it better by himself on the other side of the dam.

A very nice area!
