Six Europeans in Potsdam

The S-Bahn takes us and our bikes in 1 1/2 hours to Potsdam.

Potsdam has also its Brandenburg Gate. Don’t ask me what the lady in front does….

Parc Sanssouci is beautiful and because we have our bikes we can easily reach all corners of the parc. At the entrance of the castle are long queues – no, we don’t need that – parc and weather are too nice to queue.

With the bike round the parc passing the New Palais and the Chinese House and enjoy –  that’s just fine.

I like Castle Cecilienhof in the New Garden the best. It is the place of the treaty of Potsdam  on August 2nd 1945.

The “Glienicker Brücke” via the river Havel connects the cities Berlin and Potsdam. You go direction east but you reach the west (West-Berlin). On this bridge the exchange of agents took place during the Cold War.

Along  the “Wannsee” – great biking along the shores and through forest. And when we are tired we take the S-Bahn to ride back to Tegel. Another beautiful day!
