The day starts rather cold and cloudy. The weather forecast says rain most of the day. We will see.
Every once in a while a castle sits above the village.
Between rails and vinyards the bike track winds its way.
Our morning bubbly we take in Kobern at the nice market place.
Unfortunately we don’t have enough time in Koblenz to bike to the “Deutsche Eck” where the river Moselle meets the river Rhine. We have our lunch at the “Weindorf” in Koblenz.
Shortly before the railway station we have a puncture – the one and only of the group in all those days. It is quickly fixed and the train takes us home in about four hours.
