Exercise and culture

To the tip of the peninsula of Tharros we have to bike 13 km – sometimes on rough paths along the coast.

Tharros is the largest phoenician-roman port of Sardinia. Quite a large area of rubbles covers the east side of the peninsula. There is still work to do. Because the water level has risen quite durnig times a few of the ruins are still under the surface.

The way back is sometimes not easy, the macchia is very dense, but the views we get are magnificent. Sunburnt we reach our camper.
